Born in Benin City, Nigeria, Eddy Ratty began developing his sound in small Lagos studios before expanding his creativity internationally. Now writing, recording and performing between Lagos and Manchester, he merges African storytelling with global production influences to craft a unique sonic identity.
Before stepping fully into the spotlight, Eddy gained experience behind the scenes as a music executive. That journey shaped his vision and led him to establish his own independent creative platform built on authenticity, cultural pride and artistic freedom.
